Given the fact that the francophone population of New Brunswick experiences such a lower level of healthcare and education than anglophones, has there been any advocacy by Quebec on a federal level on behalf of the Acadian population? Or is there no solidarity amongst Quebeckers and other francophone populations?
You mention the McCains and the Irvings frequently - to my knowledge, at least the McCain's have been fairly supportive of the Liberals, but is there a close alignment of each family to a particular political party or ideology?
Do the two main corporations control social policy as well, or do they limit themselves to just economic matters?
